About MS Bike

MS Bike is an experience-driven event that brings the community together in exciting ways to help create a world free of MS. Achieving a world free of MS takes more than one person, and by registering for MS Bike you will join thousands of participants all working toward this singular goal.

How, when and where you choose to ride is completely up to you. You can join one of our in-person locations across the country, or ride as a virtual cyclist in the comfort of your own community or home. Even if you participate virtually, as long as you ride and log 90kms, we’ll send you an exclusive finisher line medal to commemorate your dedication to the cause. We ask that however you choose to participate, that you closely monitor information on COVID-19 as released by the Public Health Agency of Canada and your local public health authorities. But we know that no matter what, you can go the distance and make a difference, from wherever you are!

MS Bike happens throughout June to September! We encourage you to take part in MS Bike in whatever way works best for you; you can register and ride in one of our in-person locations across Canada, or partake in MS Bike by registering as a virtual cyclist.

The health and safety of our participants remains our top priority. Health regulations will be in place for all in-person MS Bike events to ensure a safe environment for everyone participating. If you register to bike in-person but decide later that you would prefer not to, that is completely ok! You can simply participate virtually by riding (and logging 90kms to receive your finisher line medal!) within the comfort of your own community.

The MS community isn’t defined by virtual and in-person, it’s defined by the support and connections made by participating in MS Bike. In whichever way you choose to ride, know that your participation and fundraising moves us closer to a world free of MS!

Ensuring the health and safety of our entire community — people affected by MS, volunteers, fundraisers, donors, staff — remains our top priority.

MS Bike Locations

We are asking MS Bike participants to raise the minimum fundraising amount of $500. Staff are here to support you in reaching your goals. Please reach out to your local staff member or msbike@mscanada.ca and we will help you with fundraising ideas, resources and support.

The MS Canada does not currently encourage participants to solicit funds by door-to-door canvassing.

People living with MS across Canada are at the heart of everything we do. The current health crisis has impacted all Canadians, and the need for information, resources and support programs for people affected by MS is as urgent and critical as ever. The money you raise ensures that people affected by MS receive quality access and support that they need in whichever community they live in. It is our priority to ensure we support programs and services that people can access across the country – regardless of where they live. Some examples of this programming include virtual wellness, 1:1 Peer Support, and our MS Knowledge Network.
